Governance & Social Justice

The Governance Unit at the British Council works to promote initiatives that support the UK Government's foreign policy objectives of spreading the value of human rights, civil liberties, democracy and the rule of law. We work in the areas of Participative Democracy, Law and Human Rights, Gender Equality and Diversity, and Management and Economic Reforms.
