new, dedicated academy to help CSR take a big leap forward was
recently launched in UK. The new CSR Academy, established through
close Government, industry and key stakeholder co-operation,
will be a new resource for organisations of any size and any
sector wanting to develop their corporate social responsibility
skills.
3. Business in the Community

Business in the Community (BITC) is a unique movement
in the UK of 700 member companies, with a further 1600 participating
in their programmes and campaigns. BITC operate through a network
of 98 local business-led partnerships, as well as working with
45 global partners with a purpose to inspire, challenge, engage
and support business in continually improving its positive impact
on society.
4. International Centre for Corporate Social Responsibility
in UK

Through its inter-disciplinary approach and international focus,
the International Centre for Corporate Social Responsibility
in UK (ICCSR) aims to
- develop expertise
in the analysis and verification of CSR, particularly
regarding why it takes place, how it is enacted and what

- contribute
to the acquisition of CSR knowledge, facilitate learning
about CSR; and enhance the business, social and governmental
case for CSR.
