The British Council in partnership with the Centre for Biotechnology, Anna University, Chennai is organising a two-day Indo-UK seminar on ‘Biotechnology: UK and Indian Perspectives’. This seminar aims to familiarize the Biotechnology students and faculty with the current trends and latest developments in some of the emerging fields of Biotechnology.
Eminent scientists from nine UK Universities along with Indian scientists and industry experts will deliver talks on - Stem Cells and Tissue Engineering; Health-care Biotechnology; Omics Technology; Metabolic Engineering and Bioinformatics.

The seminar would be useful for - students of biotechnology at undergraduate and postgraduate level; researchers and faculty involved in research; teaching and training in biotechnology; pharmaceutical technology; food technology; life sciences; basic biomedical sciences and related areas. All participants attending the seminar will receive a participation certificate.
