We cordially invite you to an exclusive art exhibition by the acclaimed artist Anish Kapoor. The artist’s recent wax installations have created a furore in the world of art and sculpture at the international level. The exhibition will feature a selection of sculptures and installations that span the breath of the artist’s career, from his early pigment based sculptures of 1980s to his most recent wax installations.
The Anish Kapoor show will be the first major exhibition to be held in the newly renovated National Gallery of Modern Art, Delhi. Apart from NGMA, Delhi, the exhibition is being hosted at the Mehboob film studios, Bandra, Mumbai. Each of these exhibitions focuses on a unique aspect of Kapoor’s practice, each complementing the other to form an overall picture of the diversity and energy within his oeuvre.
Interestingly, both the exhibitions will feature the artist’s work included in the recent, record-breaking exhibition at the Royal Academy, London that attracted over 275,000 visitors in less than three months.
